Within the medical dermatology realm, the symposium will delve into diverse topics such as the management of acne, psoriasis, vitiligo, atopic dermatitis, scars, and wounds. On the cosmetic dermatology front, discussions will span non-invasive body contouring, fractional resurfacing, vaginal rejuvenation, hair loss solutions, cosmeceuticals, exosomes and more. Renowned experts will conduct live patient workshops and video demonstrations, reviewing the principles behind safe and effective minimally invasive treatments for facial rejuvenation, incorporating neurotoxins, soft tissue fillers, and laser devices. Attendees can expect to acquire new skills and techniques that can be immediately applied in their practice, ensuring a valuable and enriching experience at the Symposium.

Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

Describe advances in the management of patients with vitiligo.
Review the therapeutic options for patients impacted with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS).
Identify treatment options for alopecia areata.
Compare and contrast various options for cosmeceuticals and topical skincare.
Review the latest advanced techniques in lasers, light, ultrasound, and radiofrequency devices.
Compare and contrast available options for non-invasive body contouring.
Discuss application for various neurotoxins, dermal fillers, surgical and minimally invasive treatments for facial rejuvenation and elimination of submental fat.
Review facial anatomy to determine proper injection techniques.
Discuss indications, contraindications, and properties of filling agents currently approved for use in the US.
Review treatment options for patients with hair loss.
Identify emerging integrative and regenerative therapies in dermatology and evaluate their potential to enhance patient outcomes.
Evaluate GLP-1-associated changes affecting the face, skin, body, and hair to develop individualized, evidence-based aesthetic treatment plans.
Recognize strategies and treatments for a diverse patient population including gender younger patients.
Discuss the process of superficial radiation therapy to treat keloids and nonmelanoma skin cancer (NMSC).
Criteria for Success
There is no fee to participate in this activity. Statements of credit will be awarded based on the participant’s attendance.
