Dr. Kobets received her Bachelor of Arts from the Macaulay Honors College of Queens College, City University of New York, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated at the top of her class summa cum laude. She went on to complete her medical training at Yale University School of Medicine and her medical internship at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Kobets has completed her dermatology residency training at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), followed by a 1-year ASDS accredited cosmetic surgery fellowship at the UPMC Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Health Center with Dr. Suzan Obagi.
Dr. Kobets offers treatments with various newest cosmetic procedures, including laser resurfacing for skin rejuvenation, skin tightening and rosacea, natural-looking injectables (neuromodulators and fillers), laser hair removal, liposuction, sclerotherapy for leg veins, hair loss treatments and transplantation, and personalized skin care, adjusting her treatments to cater to each patient’s individual needs.
Patients also visit Dr. Kobets for various general dermatology reasons, including dermatology consultations, rashes, fungal infections, eczema, acne, wound care, and skin biopsies. Dr. Kobets is fluent in Russian and English.
